Pupil Achievement

Statutory Assessment Results 2018/19

At All Saints we provide a curriculum that offers challenging and stimulating learning opportunities for children. It is designed to enable them to make the most of their academic opportunities.

However, we also develop other qualities in our children that include a love of learning and resilience as well as the ability and desire to take control of their own learning.

Many children make fantastic progress but miss out by one or two marks on the day of the tests. Others have made tremendous improvement over the years but still do not achieve the average expectation. No child’s effort should be judged solely by a test result. We know how hard they, the parents and the staff work year after year to help all children achieve their best.

This year our results demonstrated the challenges faced by children and schools with the current curriculum. It was particularly pleasing to see how hard every student worked and what a fantastic attitude was shown by all for every test. Even those children who find academic subjects difficult did their best and showed true resilience. As a result every student was able to hold their head high and say, “I could not have done any more!”
