Our school day officially starts at 8.40am. The ten minutes prior to this between 8.30am and 8.40 am is when the children enter school and settle into classes. They have a range of activities to choose from (age appropriate) and are welcomed by their class team. 'Check ins' are conducted with all children and the day begins!

If your child is absent for any reason, we must be informed by text, note or telephone call. We will contact you if we have not heard from you. Some parents will be required to provide a doctor’s note if their child’s attendance becomes a cause of concern. Unauthorised absences will be followed up by a visit from our Education Welfare Officer who has the authority to initiate legal proceedings.

Schools may legally authorise up to 10 days holiday a year. However, at All Saints we are very clear – holidays will not be authorised unless there are exceptional circumstances. This is because children’s attainment is adversely affected if they miss any schooling.

The total time in school per week is 32.5 hours.
